FAQs
This is our list of frequently asked questions.
Who Gets the Permit
We can handle it for you.
Our permit service fee is $250. Any township permit fees and required surveys are paid by the homeowner.
WHy do i need a permit?
Every township has its own rules.
Fence permits are usually one of the quickest and easiest permits to obtain, but requirements vary by municipality.
What types of fences do you install?
Pretty much everything.
Vinyl, aluminum, chain link, wood, custom cedar, decorative fencing, and custom-built designs.
Is there a charge for a estimate?
Not a penny!
Consultations and estimates are always free and come with no obligation.
How long is my quote valid?
Three weeks.
The only exception would be a major material price increase. In over 25 years of combined fencing experience, we've only seen that happen during the COVID supply chain disruptions.
Can pool-code fences come in different styles and materials?
Absolutely.
Pool-code-compliant fencing is available in a variety of materials and styles while still meeting local safety requirements.
Do you set posts in concrete?
Yes, that's our standard.
Concrete-set posts provide superior strength and longevity. Choosing not to use concrete may affect or void installation warranties.
How long does fence installation take?
Usually 1–3 days.
Most residential projects are completed within that timeframe, depending on the fence type, terrain, and project size.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes.
We provide a workmanship warranty, and many of the products we install also include manufacturer warranties.
Do you perform fence repairs?
Yes, with a few considerations.
If we installed your fence and it was damaged by something like a fallen tree, we'll do our best to help at very fair pricing. For repairs on fences we didn't install, pricing is based on standard service rates. Small repairs can sometimes be surprisingly costly due to equipment, insurance, travel, and labor costs, but we're always happy to discuss options.
Still have a question?
We're always happy to talk fences, answer questions, and help you find the best solution for your property.
